Love of Truth by C.T. Oliver

Back in May I did the cover reveal for this book. Today, it is live! C.T. Oliver has become a friend of mine and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce her to all of you.

Author Profile:
Name: CT Oliver

Age: 25yo, but I’m mentally a 16yo.
Where do you live: I live in the beautiful green NW and I call Portland my home. During the summer months I am all over the west coast, spreading my time between Seattle, Portland and San Diego.

Where do you work/what do you do: I am currently in school working on a science degree. I’m still a little lost and don’t know what I want to do with my life. I’m still holding out hope to be the next Q for James Bond.
Likes/Hobbies: When I do have time to do things that I like, I surf, run and hike the mountains around Oregon. It gives me a chance to be outside and unhook from technology. I have recently gotten into knitting and it’s very addictive. If I can find time for it, my biggest desire is to travel through Europe.

How long you’ve been writing: I have not been writing long. I started it as an outlet from the stress of my workload.  I shared it with some friends of mine and they pushed me into publishing the story.
Book Synopsis: Craig Patrice and Amelia Adler meet during Spring break and they instantly are attracted to each other. They find comfort in one another during this little vacation of theirs, but will the relationship be the same when they come back to the city. The book has fun and lively characters that I hope very dear to my heart and I hope that readers will enjoy them as well.

Take a Sneak Peek into Love of Truth:
I help her into the passenger seat, and run over to the other side. As the SUV starts, the memory seating sets in and the seat pushes me into the steering wheel. I’m hugging the steering wheel until I finally figure out the setting.
...

She lets out a soft laugh. “Sorry, I’m kinda short.”’

I smile, feeling happy just from the sounds of her laugh. “It’s okay. And your dog will be okay, too.” I find myself wanting to comfort her. Her laugh lightens my heart, and I feel as though a weight I’ve been carrying for years has just fallen off my shoulders.

When I stepped out of the house this morning, the only thing on my mind was getting down to the beach and diving into the ocean with my board. The last thing I expected was to see my neighbor dash down her deck half naked to tend to her dog. Hearing her dog whimpering in pain made me spring over to help.

In the midst of the panicked moment, I couldn’t resist a chance to take in the sight of my neighbor. What I saw absolutely floored me. While I was interested in what I saw from across the yard yesterday, up close, she is breathtaking. Even now as she sits next to me, I have to steal glances at her. Her glasses give her a sophisticated and intelligent look, but sexy at the same time. She has no makeup on, but has the prettiest complexion. The smattering of freckles on her cheekbones are a direct contrast to her sophisticated glasses and make her look younger. Her eyes are big with dark lashes and beautifully shaped eyebrows. They are onyx-colored and seem bottomless and dreamy, even though they are surrounded with worry and anxiety. They remind me of Audrey Hepburn’s eyes. Yes, I know what Audrey Hepburn’s eyes look like. Anyone that has ever been in my mom’s presence knows what Audrey Hepburn’s eyes look like. Her tank top does nothing to hide her bra and chest. I would bet my bottle of Macallan 1926 that her skin is silky soft to the touch........

Check out the Rafflecopter giveaway going live at midnight (7/14) at https://www.facebook.com/BabeWithABook for the signature scent lotion/oils Amelia wears in Love of Truth.

Love of Truth is an easy read and the first in a series by Oliver.

  1. I love to go to a beach in MN called Cedar Lake... you can go out to the middle of lake before it gets deep!
